What are your payment terms?

If you have an account with us, payment is due within 30 days of a completed search. Contact us to see if you qualify. Without an account, partial or complete payment may be required before the search is conducted.

How quickly will my search be completed?

In most cases your search will be completed within 1 to 3 business days after the day your order is received. However, in some cases turn-around time may take longer. If this situation occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible of the expected completion date.

What documents will my search reveal?

  • Conveyance Documents
  • Open Deeds of Trust
    • Assignments
    • Appointments
    • Requests for Notice
    • Modification Agreements
  • Tax Information, ID Number and Assessed Valuation
  • Liens, Judgments, Probate and Bankruptcy Information

Which documents encountered during the search will be copied and sent to me?

  • Conveyance Deeds - Full Copies
  • Deeds of Trust -
    • First Page
    • Amount
    • Legal Description
    • Signature and Notary Page(s)
  • Documents Attached to Deeds of Trust
    • First Page and Legal Description

(Extra Copies, if requested, will be billed at $1.00 each.) 

Are there any hidden expenses my search may incur?

Searches requiring Easements, Restrictive Covenants, etc. are billed as Full Searches.

What happens if my search doesn’t reveal anything?

Any searches “not found” due to insufficient or erroneous information will be billed at the “Current Owner” rate.
